RUNAWAY BRIDE

My friend Erin asked me to tag along on her sisters Bridal Session for Company on the long drive to the Sand Dunes (because we all know, I’m the best company for a road trip ;) and to also help with lighting. I was delighted and Excited for this Very Fun, Very Creative and Very Unique shoot. I didn’t take too many shots but did manage to get a few Favorites to add to my Collection of Favorites from 2010.

I think horses are some of the most Gorgeous Animals but truth be told I am SCARED TO DEATH of them! My close friends and family know the reason and I doubt that they blame me as being bucked off of a horse, breaking ribs and still having to ride all of the way back down the canyon is not high on my list of Fun things to do on a Date :)
For some reason the entire time we were shooting these I kept thinking that the Bride on the horse reminded me of one of my Favorite movies.. Runaway Bride. Though Folks she wasn’t in fact a real life Runaway Bride as she and her man got married this last weekend.

Here are a few of my favorites from the 2nd location. Larena looked absolutely Gorgeous and was such a Trooper throughout all of this. You can tell when a bride doesn’t mind that the bottom of their dress is getting dirty that they are out to get some Amazing Bridal pictures. When you combine sand, wind and a horse yeah it got pretty dirty but cleaned up very well and looked brand new at their wedding.

This is her moms horse Rico and I was AMAZED at how good he was the entire time.
