It’s that time of year again when the stores are packed for School Clothes shopping, the kids are Excited to return to school and moms and dads everywhere are Thrilled about paying for the pictures at school that very rarely turn out.
Whether it be the pictures are taken after lunch when your child has ketchup smeared all over their face, after recess when their hair is all sweaty while running around the school yard playing tag or else they are rushed so fast that you get that awkward expression, fake smile and something that resembles your child but NOT REALLY.
I look through school pictures of my own wishing that the Photographer would have fixed that crooked pony tail, wishing that they would have said something more than just “CHEEZE” to make me smile and then I wonder…. quite wonder what on earth my mom was thinking sending me to school that day 
We have all had Terrible school pictures and wasted a lot of money on prints that rarely escape the envelope. Most often they are too Terrible to hang on the wall so they are pushed aside in a drawer someplace to use as blackmail material years down the road.
This year… why not try something different.
